  Do yourself a favour: go down the street to grocery store, grab loaf of Rye bread, package of smoked meat, btl of mustard and sml jar of pickles for $10, and you’ll have dynamite sandwiches all week.

  Everything wrong about this sandwich; served on thick, heavy, toasted (or in my case, burnt) wheat-bread, smothered in some sort of “mayonnaise-type dressing”, topped with miserable amount of terribly dried-out chewy meat.

  I haven't eaten a lot of brisket before, but it did seem dry to me, but loved the taste. Like other reviews i read the restraunt was empty but i did see a lot of take out orders going out the door while i was there. service was very friendly. I will return for sure to try the pulled pork before leaving town.

  The brisket was awful - reading other reviews it sounds like this is pretty common. It was rubbery and dry - brisket is so simple to cook I really don't understand how this could happen. Maybe they reheat it or something. Avoid it at all costs.

  KR & I went for lunch. It's our favourite place in Dawson Creek. We had appies the deep fried risotto balls with a tomato sauce drizzled with pesto. We also had sweet potato chips which are seasoned along with an amazing dip. I had the Bison burger with blasted potatoes and KR had the brisket sandwich with bbq sauce and a cesar salad. We split our meals and still ended up bringing home leftovers. The food was awesome as usual. The service was great. It has become a treasured memory in our life's journey. Well worth the visit all breads are made in house
